How to set up Eudora Email for Windows
- Open the Eudora 6.1 email client
- Go to Tools, Personalities
- Click on the Personalities tab towards the left side of the screen
- Right-click anywhere in the Personalities window
- Select New...
- Select Create a brand new email account
- Click Next
- Name the account something like: "My email account" or "My email at work" or "Sales Account"
- Click Next
- Enter your name...FirstName LastName
- Enter the User Name and domain name we host for you
- Enter your "Login name" or User Name provided to you us.
- Use your domain name here: mail.yourdomain.com
- Use your domain name here: mail.yourdomain.com
- Be Certain to place a check in the box next to Allow authentication
- Real name: Your name
- Return address: Your e-mail address (username@yourdomain.com)
- Mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Login name: Your username
- SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Go to Sending Mail in the left "Category" column
- Select Dominant from the drop-down menu next to SMTP Relay Personality
- Select Never from the drop-down menu below Secure Sockets when Receiving
- Go to Checking Mail in the left "Category" column
- Select Never from the drop-down menu below Secure Sockets when Receiving
- Click OK
