How to set up Netscape Email for Windows
- Open the Netscape browser
- Click on Window (next to Tools) at the top of the screen
- Click on Mail & Newsgroups
- Go to Edit at the top of the screen (in the new window that just opened)
- Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings...
- Select Add Account
Click Next
- Enter Your name as you want it to appear in the email you have sent
- Enter your account name....yourname@yourdomain.com
- Click next
- In Incoming Server enter: mail.yourdomain.com
- Click Next
- Click Next
- Click Next
- Click Finish
- Click on Outgoing Server SMTP...
- In the box to the right of Port type in 25
- Place a check in the box to the left of Use name and password
- Selct Always under Use secure connection (SSL):
- Click OK
- When checking email for the first time you will be prompted to enter a password
- Enter your password
- Choose whether to have Netscape "Password Manager" remember the password
- Click OK
- Click OK at the next window about "Saving Passwords and Other Sensitive Information"
